Chinese Consulate Organized an Online Meeting of the Centennial Celebration of the CPC

Chinese Consulate General organized an online meeting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China on June 25, 2021. Chinese Consul General Zha Liyou, CPIM Politburo member Mr. Md Salim, Managing Director of PATTON-cum-Honorary Consul of Malaysia Mr. Sanjay Bhudia, Founder Chairman of Centre for Promotion of India-China Ccoperation-cum- Honorary Consul of Indonesia Mr. Mahesh Saharia, President of CLC Tanners Association Mr. Ramesh Juneja, Director of Belani Group & President CREDAI Bengal Mr. Nandu Belani, Chairman of IIHM & Indismart Group Worldwide Mr. Suborno Bose, CEO of AMRI hospitals Mr. Rupak Barua, Managing Trustee of Rakshak Foundation Ms. Chaitali Das, Decendant of Nawab Wazid Ali shah Mr. Shahanshah Mirza, Chairman of Indo Italian Chamber of Commerce Mr Pankaj Parekh, Director of Techno India Mr. Meghdut Roychowdhury and other business leaders and representatives from Chinese companies and Chinese community attended.

Mr. Zha Liyou welcomed all the guests to celebrate the centennial of the Communist Party of China online, and introduced the remarkable achievements and great history of CPC in leading Chinese people to make historical strides from standing up, getting rich to becoming strong since its founding. He emphasized the code of success of CPC lies in seeking a correct path that suits China's specific conditions by integrating Marxism with China’s realities, i.e. Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. The CPC maintains close ties with all of Chinese people and always places the people’s interests as the top priority, and thus wins wholehearted support of the people.

Mr. Zha pointed out the Communist Party of China not only leads China to prosperity, but is also committed to the welfare and development of human society. After the outbreak of Covid-19, China has been providing necessary support for the international community including India to help fight against the pandemic, which is a concrete example of “building a community with shared future of mankind”. He hoped Indian people to defeat Covid-19 and get back to normal life and work in an early date and wished China and India deepen understanding, strengthen cooperation and enhance friendship in the post pandemic era. The Chinese Consulate-General in Kolkata is willing to work with friends to make more contributions to China-India friendship.

Mr. Md Salim extended warm congratulations on the 100th anniversary of the founding of CPC and commented on its grand achievement. He stressed CPIM highly valued traditional friendship with the CPC, and looked forward to further strengthening friendly exchanges with it. He hoped the two Parties work together to promote sound development of China-India relations.

Managing Director of PATTON-cum-Honorary Consul of Malaysia Mr. Sanjay Bhudia, Founder Chairman of Centre for Promotion of India-China Ccoperation-cum- Honorary Consul of Indonesia Mr. Mahesh Saharia, President of CLC Tanners Association Mr. Ramesh Juneja and other guests congratulated the 100th anniversary of the founding of CPC, and they believed China and India, both important countries in Asia and two of the biggest developing economies in the world, enjoyed great potentials of cooperation in various fields of bilateral and international affairs. They also expressed willingness to promote people-to-people exchanges and economic and trade collaboration between China and East India after the pandemic.
